I offer both in person and online support.

In-person therapy in Noosa, the Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane remains an essential option for many individuals. While telehealth services are convenient, they may not be suitable for all mental health conditions or personal preferences. Many people benefit from the deeper sense of connection and face-to-face interaction that in-person counselling provides. Whether you’re located in Noosa, the broader Sunshine Coast region, or Brisbane, speaking directly with a therapist in a physical setting may better support your unique mental health needs. The decision between telehealth and in-person therapy should be based on your individual circumstances and made in consultation

Some of the advantages of using in-person services to assist psychological wellbeing include:

  1. Personal connection: In-person services allow individuals to build a personal connection with their therapist or counselor. This connection can help create a sense of trust and comfort, which is important for individuals to open up and discuss their mental health issues.
  2. Nonverbal communication: In-person services also allow for nonverbal communication, such as body language and facial expressions, which can be important for understanding the emotions and thoughts of the individual.
  3. Tailored approach: An in-person therapist can tailor their approach to the individual’s needs and preferences, providing a more personalised treatment plan.
  4. Privacy: Some people want their own therapeutic space away from their home in order to keep their therapy separate from the noise & busyness of daily life and sometimes there can be a lack of confidentiality at home.

In-person therapy is available in Noosa, the broader Sunshine Coast region and Brisbane.

Telehealth services have several advantages for remotely assisting psychological wellbeing, including:

  1. Improved access: Telehealth services can support better access to excellent mental health services due to physical limitations, transportation issues, or living in remote areas. You can access an expert wherever you are in Australia.
  2. Convenience: Telehealth services offer greater flexibility in scheduling and allow people to receive care in the comfort of their own homes, reducing the time and cost associated with travelling to appointments.
  3. Increased privacy: Some people may feel uncomfortable attending an in-person mental health clinic due to concerns about privacy. Telehealth services can be conducted in a private and secure environment, helping to alleviate these concerns.
  4. Continuity of care: Telehealth services can ensure that people receive continuous care, even if they are unable to attend in-person appointments due to travel, illness, or other circumstances.

Overall, telehealth services have the potential to increase access to mental health care, improve patient outcomes, and reduce any stigma associated with seeking help for psychological wellbeing. Telehealth services are available nation wide.
